Description of the Service

The RICS Building Survey is the most detailed inspection and report (previously commonly known as the Full Structural Survey).

It includes a thorough inspection of the property and a detailed report based on the inspection. The aim is to help you make a reasoned and informed decision when purchasing the property, including planning for repairs, maintenance, and upgrading the property.

The report is in a standard format devised by the RICS covering all aspects of the construction and condition of the property and incorporates colour coded Condition Ratings relating to the condition for clarity and ease of reference.

This type of survey is usually carried out on older and larger properties, property is considered to be in poor condition and in need of repair, or should your purchase depend on the advice with regard to proposed alterations.

Time will be taken to discuss your requirements and the suitability of such a survey and a fee will be confirmed before proceeding.

A call the same day, an email to follow-up immediately after the call. A survey within a week of speaking, the report within 36 hours of the survey being carried out. The price paid was very fair, Kim was a pleasure to deal with.
